Dear Fellow Disciples, peace.

The powerful works of Jesus always implied faith. They are not magic, far from peoples’ freedom (free will) and their relationship with God. Rather they were always a manifestation of the Father’s love through Jesus’ actions.

In the origin of this lady’s healing, victimized by hemorrhages, there was faith, strong faith, moving faith. “Daughter your faith saved you”. Her faith moves power out of Jesus. Like Mary’s faith at the wedding in Cana.

From Jairus one thing only is required for the healing of his little girl, “Do not fear, and just believe.”

Great things happen in the life of the disciples who believe. “Lord I believe, help my unbelief.”

May the Holy Spirit help us in our growing faith. And may we see the powerful work of God in response to our faith.

Solo Necesitan Creer

Queridos discípulos, paz.

Las poderosas obras de Jesús siempre implicaron fe. No son magia, alejadas de la libertad de los pueblos (libre albedrío) y de su relación con Dios. Más bien, siempre fueron una manifestación del amor del Padre a través de las acciones de Jesús.

En el origen de la curación de esta señora, víctima de hemorragias, hubo fe, fe fuerte, fe conmovedora. “Hija, tu fe te ha salvado”. Su fe extrae poder de Jesús. Como la fe de María en las bodas de Caná.

De Jairo sólo se requiere una cosa para la curación de su pequeña: “No temas, y sólo cree”.

Grandes cosas suceden en la vida de los discípulos que creen. “Señor, creo, ayuda mi incredulidad”.

Que el Espíritu Santo nos ayude en nuestra fe creciente. Y que podamos ver la poderosa obra de Dios en respuesta a nuestra fe.
