Surviving Divorce
Saint Rose of Lima Church is pleased to announce a wonderful new ministry that brings hope and healing to those who have experienced the pain and trauma of divorce. Led by Thomas and Lynn Sigler, Surviving Divorce features twelve video presentations that cover topics such as shock and grief, anger and forgiveness, money issues, dealing with children, navigating difficulties with a former spouse, and seeking an annulment and navigating remarriage. This program is for both the newly separated and divorced and those still struggling with issues years later. Find answers to your questions, restore hope, and begin authentic healing. It is possible to regain your joy and live a fulfilled life beyond divorce!
Experts in the series include Rose Sweet, Surviving Divorce producer and author of Healing the Divorced Heart; Dr. Ray Guarendi, clinical psychologist, Catholic author, and host of Ave Maria Radio’s The Doctor Is In; Fr. Mitch Pacwa, priest, biblical scholar, and author; Fr. Donald Calloway, priest, author, and popular EWTN host; Fr. Steve Porter, priest, biblical scholar, and spiritual director; and Christopher West, Catholic speaker and expert on St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body. It also includes personal testimonies of Catholic men and women who have experienced the breakdown of the family unit from what God intended. They courageously share their stories with heart, humor, and wisdom. The Surviving Divorce program is based on the teachings of the Catholic Church and is open to members of St Rose of Lima Church who need comfort, counsel, and clarity after divorce.
Sessions are held in Room 117 at Saint Rose of Lima Parish. Registration is required for participation in this program.
2024 Schedule
We are currently accepting registrations for anyone interested in receiving divorce ministry so we can assess the need and determine if there are enough people to schedule a second session in the Fall. We will respond to every registration in late July with information about the dates and times of the next session.
If you have any questions, please email Thomas and Lynn Sigler at lsigler@saintrose.org.
