Let us reflect on the invaluable legacy left by past generations, a treasure too easily overlooked in the rush of our daily lives. This Easter, let us take a moment to express our gratitude to the visionary heroes of Saint Rose of Lima whose dedication laid the very foundations of our present campus. They paved the way for future generations to encounter God. Because of their faith and devotion, we have inherited not only a beautiful church and a thriving school, but also a rich tapestry of stories, traditions, and values – an enduring spiritual inheritance.
Many of these remarkable individuals are still with us; their ongoing contributions serve as a testament to their vision, diligence, and financial support. Following their example, we too can leave a legacy for those who come after us. By honoring our past, we shape the future. It is hope deferred. We give today, trusting that our offerings will have a significant impact over time. Though we may not witness the full effect of our efforts, we believe that our contributions will yield profound benefits for generations to come – our children, grandchildren, the wider Murfreesboro community, and beyond.
As we mark the 10-month milestone of the ONE Faith, ONE Family, ONE Parish Capital Campaign, it is important to rally together to support its noble objectives. With a current balance of approximately $1.4 million, and a target of $3.5 million to complete Phase One (refer to the revised Master Plan at www.saintrose.org/capital-campaign), the need for continued financial backing is evident. Initiating the projects outlined in Phase One, including the construction of the new gym, hinges on our collective participation.
Presently only a quarter of our parish and school families are actively contributing to the campaign. If every household were to commit $100 monthly, the funding required for these vital initiatives would be well within reach. It’s our turn to build a brighter future for the next generation. Let us come together as Hundred-Dollar Heroes, making our pledges today to ensure the realization of our shared vision!

Esta Pascua, tomemos un momento para expresar nuestra gratitud a los héroes visionarios de Santa Rosa de Lima cuya dedicación sentó las bases de nuestro campus actual. Allanaron el camino para que las generaciones futuras encontraran a Dios. Gracias a su fe y devoción, hemos heredado no sólo una hermosa iglesia y una escuela próspera, sino también un rico tapiz de historias, tradiciones y valores: una herencia espiritual duradera.
