Dear Fellow Disciples, peace.

The disciples of the Kingdom are baptized “in the name of the Father and of Son and of the Holy Spirit”. “In the name of” means that their life brings the mark of the Most Holy Trinity and through her, are knitted. Their existence takes a new dimension, transcendental, giving them the dignity of sons and daughters of God.

The baptism in the name of the Trinity implies precise demands for the disciples. The first one is to live in community, inspired exactly in the Trinitarian model. Those who say they are disciples, Christians and Catholics but say they don’t need the community, the Church, in reality are none of the above. Living in community they are challenged to practice all those virtues proper to a healthy and holy living with one another.

The communion in the Most Holy Trinity results from love. In that same way the communion among the disciples must be based on and lived in love.

The ideal of the Most Holy Trinity encourages the disciples to prevent any kind of division and discord. Gossip, competitions, envy, hatred, enmities, and many other traps against Christian unity are signs of betrayal of our faith. We, the disciples of all times, profess our faith in the continued quest for unity of hearts and minds, like the Most Holy Trinity.

“O my God, Trinity whom I adore, help me to forget myself entirely that I may be established in you as still and as peaceful as if my soul were already in eternity. May nothing trouble my peace or make me leave You, O my Unchanging One, but may each minute carry me further into the depths of Your Mystery.” (Saint Elizabeth of the Most Holy Trinity, OCD)

En El Nombre de La Trinidad

Queridos discípulos, paz.

Los discípulos del Reino son bautizados “en el nombre del Padre y del Hijo y del Espíritu Santo”. “En nombre de” significa que su vida trae la marca de la Santísima Trinidad y a través de Ella, se entrelazan. Su existencia toma una dimensión nueva, trascendental, dándoles la dignidad de hijos e hijas de Dios.

El bautismo en nombre de la Trinidad implica exigencias precisas para los discípulos. La primera es vivir en comunidad, inspirada exactamente en el modelo trinitario. Quienes dicen ser discípulos, cristianos y católicos, pero dicen que no necesitan a la comunidad, a la Iglesia, en realidad no son ninguno de los anteriores. Al vivir en comunidad, se ven desafiados a practicar todas aquellas virtudes propias de una convivencia sana y santa unos con otros.

La comunión en la Santísima Trinidad resulta del amor. De la misma manera la comunión entre los discípulos debe basarse y vivirse en el amor.

El ideal de la Santísima Trinidad anima a los discípulos a impedir cualquier tipo de división y discordia. Los chismes, las competencias, las envidias, los odios, las enemistades y muchas otras trampas contra la unidad de los cristianos son signos de traición a nuestra fe. Nosotros, los discípulos de todos los tiempos, profesamos nuestra fe en la búsqueda continua de la unidad de corazones y mentes, como la Santísima Trinidad.

“Oh, Dios mío, ¡Trinidad a quien adoro! Ayúdame a olvidarme totalmente de mí, para instalarme en Ti, inmóvil y serena, como sí mi alma estuviera ya en la eternidad. Que nada pueda turbar mi paz, ni hacerme salir de Ti, mi Dios inmutable, sino que cada momento me sumerja más adentro en la profundidad de tu Misterio.” (Santa Isabel de la Santísima Trinidad, OCD)
