How is Saint Rose of Lima determining the pledge amounts that we are asking families to consider?
The request amounts are based on several factors, including giving history and the answers shared in the feasibility study. Our goal is to challenge everyone to consider supporting Saint Rose of Lima above their usual giving. We ask each family to prayerfully consider a manner of giving, and we encourage you to give an amount that is meaningful and sacrificial to your family.
Why are there two campaigns (Legacy for Diocese and Saint Rose of Lima's) being facilitated at one time:
It was a mutual decision between the Diocese of Nashville and Saint Rose of Lima. The diocese will use funds raised during their campaign for several important initiatives that will directly and positively impact Saint Rose of Lima and its parishioners. The diocese's goals (Vocations, Catholic Education, Parish growth and expansion, and Helping neighbors) line up with our specific mission. By capitalizing on the diocese's success, we can better position ourselves to provide much needed services to our parishioners and our immediate community as well as expand our influence in Middle Tennessee. Specifically, the Legacy campaign supports training for future priests, supports our school with tuition assistance for needy families, and provides outreach and support services for those in need.
