Did you know that Saint Rose has been partnering with The Journey Home for almost two years to prepare meals for 130 homeless people in Murfreesboro? This is all thanks to the generous volunteers of our ministry and the financial support of the Knights of Columbus and some parishioners.
The Journey Home is a place that helps the homeless and disadvantaged residents of Rutherford County. They provide three meals a day, every day to the people of Rutherford County that are struggling. Their goal is not only to provide for individuals in need, but to get them jobs and in stable environments.
Our ministry prepares meals almost monthly, usually the last Tuesday or Thursday of the month. The following dates are the 2020 dates that we will be cooking lunch for the people at The Journey Home:
If you feel called to assist, please join us on one of the dates from 9:00am to 11:00am at The Journey Home: 308 W. Castle St., Murfreesboro, TN. 37129.
If you have any questions or would like to join our ministry, please contact Suzie Schulenberg at 615-403-2837 or Kori Vagner at 615-962-3831. We would appreciate your prayers.
