Dear Fellow Disciples, peace.

In the First Reading (Acts 2:1–11), people from every nation hear the apostles speaking in their own languages. This reminds us that the Holy Spirit brings unity in diversity. The Spirit doesn’t erase our differences—He works through them to build communion.

In the Gospel (John 20:19–23), Jesus breathes on the disciples and says, “Receive the Holy Spirit.” Along with this gift comes a mission: to forgive, to bring peace, and to proclaim the Good News.

Pentecost is not just a memory—it is a reality. The Holy Spirit we receive in Baptism and Confirmation is alive in us today. We may not see tongues of fire, but we do ex perience His fruits: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness… So let us ask ourselves: Am I open to the Spirit? Do I allow Him to guide my words, actions, and decisions? Do I witness to Christ in my daily life?

Let us pray:
Come, Holy Spirit, fill our hearts. Set us on fire with your love. Make us bold to live and share our faith. Amen.

Domingo De Pentecostés

Queridos Discípulos, paz.

En la Primera Lectura (Hechos 2:1-11), personas de todas las naciones escuchan a los apostoles hablar en sus propios idiomas. Esto nos recuerda que el Espiritu Santo trae unidad en la diversidad. El Espiritu no borra nuestras diferencias; obra a traves de ellas para construir la comunión.

En el Evangelio (Juan 20,19-23), Jesus sopla sobre los discípulos y les dice: "Reciban el Espíritu Santo". Este don conlleva una misión: perdonar, traer paz y proclamar la Buena Nueva.

Pentecostés no es solo un recuerdo, es una realidad. El Espíritu Santo que recibimos en el Bautismo y la Confirmacion esta vivo en nosotros hoy. Quizas no veamos lenguas de fuego, pero sí experimentamos sus frutos: amor, alegría, paz, paciencia, bondad...

Preguntémonos, pues: ¿Estoy abierto al Espíritu? ¿Le permito guiar mis palabras, acciones y decisiones? ¿Doy testimonio de Cristo en mi vida diaria?

Oremos: Ven, Espíritu Santo, llena nuestros corazones. Enciendenos tu amor. Haznos valientes para vivir y compartir nuestra fe. Amén.
